Some decisions are non-negotiable. VIPs and Hard No's let you lock those in before the algorithm even runs.
⭐ VIP Status
Mark someone as a VIP when they MUST be at your wedding, no matter what.
- Immediate family members
- Best friends in the wedding party
- Anyone whose absence would be unthinkable
How it works: VIPs always appear at the top of your final list, regardless of their calculated scores. They're guaranteed a spot.
🚫 Hard No Status
Mark someone as a Hard No when they absolutely should NOT be invited.
- Toxic family members you've cut contact with
- Exes (yours or your partner's)
- Anyone who would cause drama or stress
How it works: Hard No's are excluded from the final list and don't affect your guest count calculations.
Setting VIP or Hard No Status

Go to Ranking
Navigate to the Ranking page.

Find the Guest
Locate the person you want to mark.

Toggle Status
Click the VIP star or "Hard No" option.
📝 Note
Both partners can set VIP and Hard No statuses. If you disagree, you'll see both statuses marked and can discuss it together.
