Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Sorry, Not Invited in just a few minutes.

Welcome! This guide walks you through everything you need to start managing your guest list together. You'll be up and running in about 5 minutes.

Create Your Couple Profile

After signing up, you'll set up your couple profile with:

  • Your names — how you'd like to be referred to
  • Wedding date — optional, but helpful for tracking
  • Target guest count — helps the algorithm know your constraints

Import Your Guest List

You have three options for getting guests into the system:

  • Import from The Knot or Zola — export your list and upload it here
  • Upload a spreadsheet — use your own Excel or CSV file
  • Add manually — enter guests one by one

Invite Your Partner

Head to Settings and grab your unique invite link. Send it to your partner so they can join and start rating independently.

Start Rating

Go to the Ranking page and rate each guest. Your ratings are private until you both decide to reveal them. Be honest — that's the whole point!

See the Verdict

Once you've both rated everyone, head to the Combined View to see who made the cut based on your combined scores.


💡 Tip

The algorithm is just a tool to help facilitate the conversation — you always have the final say on who gets invited.
